These Terms & Conditions apply when you shop with Hardy’s of Kilkeel online, by phone or in our store (where relevant). They set out the basis on which we supply products and services to you.

About Hardy’s

Hardy’s of Kilkeel Limited (t/a Hardy’s of Kilkeel) is a family-run independent retailer supplying home appliances and related products.

We are registered in Northern Ireland, company number NI022396, with registered office at 40–48 Newry Street, Kilkeel, Newry, County Down, BT34 4DN.

Products, pricing & availability

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, prices and availability on our website are accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct errors and update information at any time.

All prices include VAT where applicable.

Placing an order

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to purchase the products on these terms. We will confirm acceptance of your order by sending you an order confirmation (email or other communication). A contract is formed once we have accepted your order.

Payment

We accept a range of secure payment methods including debit/credit cards, PayPal and finance (subject to status). Payment must be received in full (or your finance agreement approved) before we dispatch your order.

Delivery

We deliver across Northern Ireland and to selected areas. Delivery options, timescales and charges are set out in full on our Delivery Information page.

Installation & other services

Where installation or additional services (such as disconnection or recycling) are offered, these will be subject to separate terms which will be confirmed at the time of booking or purchase.

Faulty goods & your rights

If your item develops a fault, you may have rights under consumer law. Please contact us so we can discuss the issue and guide you through the next steps, which may include a diagnostic visit or confirmation from the manufacturer or an authorised engineer.

Warranties & protection

Many products come with a manufacturer’s warranty. The length and terms of the warranty vary by brand and product and are set out in the manufacturer’s documentation.

Finance

If you choose to pay using finance, your agreement will be with our finance provider. Finance is subject to status and their terms and conditions. We are not the lender.

Promotions & discount codes

Promotions, discount codes and special offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Unless otherwise stated, offers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions.

Our responsibility

We will take reasonable care to supply products and services with reasonable skill and care. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Events outside our control

We will not be liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations where this is due to events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, industrial action, supply chain disruptions or other unforeseeable circumstances.

If you are unhappy with your purchase or our service, please contact us and we will do our best to put things right. Details on how to make a complaint are below.

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal information. You must not use our website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage or disrupt our services.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland and the courts of Northern Ireland will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to your statutory rights.
